Ina Bliss at the Markets
On Sunday 30th October 2011, the brand new exclusive community Earth'n'Sun Farmers Markets will be launching at Balmoral State High School. Everyone at the Earth & Sun Farmer’s Markets would like to warmly welcome you to our local community. Our aim is to make your market experience fun, easy and even inspirational. Earth'n'Sun Farmers Markets click on image below About Earth'n'Sun The main goal of Earth'n'Sun is to nurture and encourage communities to come together to share and make healthy, organic food more easily accessible in an eco-friendly and sustainable way. We are taking farmers markets to a whole new level by incorporating community gardens, online markets and education, all with a sustainable ethos. In light of the recent natural disasters around Australia, it has become apparent how easily infrastructure can be damaged which can stop food and fresh produce from getting through to communities. Farmers markets not only reduce food mileage, they encourage local farmers and enterprise to grow. Based on the European village lifestyle, we believe these farmers markets are the way of the future. They bring the community together and encourage creativity and communication to flourish. We also have ideas in the pipeline for an eco-rewards card. More information on that will be available soon. How does this involve ina bliss? As part of the Earth'n'Sun markets, I myself enjoy going to various local farmers markets in my local area as its a fabulous way to purchase fresh local produce and handmade/second hand items. Often you find at markets products and produce that you won't find in your local shopping centre. The feel of a non-commercial environment where you know that the merchants have worked all week to bring their produce to you gives a greater sense of community. I personally know that I enjoy eating produce that has been locally grown rather than produce that has travelled interstate. It somehow makes your meals and life more tastier. I also enjoy supporting local business people stay in business and in turn the value for what you buy is that much better. Whilst the markets are primarily local produce, the nature of the Earth'n'Sun markets is holistic and green. I am very excited to be part of the markets as healthy living is not just about local organic foods, but also a healthy mind and body and this is where ina bliss plays a part. There will also be other local business people providing their holistic lifestyle services as well. It's about creating a community where all aspects of green living work together. As the Lomi Lomi massage I provide is quite lenghty and involved, 'Mini Lomi' massages will be available to experience at the markets. I will also have a selection of my handmade bath salts, coconut massage oil and more available for purchase. If you are in the area, come on down for a visit. These markets have so much to offer all and anyone and will provide a festive feel that even the kids will enjoy. 'Mini Lomi' massages - $20 / 20 minutes available at the ina bliss massage hut
